Blender 4.2: Precise Modeling Workshop

How are your skills to craft shaders for architecture in Blender Cycles? Well, if you struggle to find the best settings for glass and glossy materials, you can download for free a set of two shaders in BlendSwap specially suited for architecture. The author of the collection is called sadaj72, and he posted the file with a creative commons zero license, which means that you can do whatever you want with it. There are two shaders in the collection aimed to help with the setup of:

  • Glass materials
  • Glossy materials

To use these shaders in your project you can just do a simple Append of the file and select the materials you want, or make an external link. In the first case you will merge the material with your project, and the last option will work as an external reference.
