8 Free cutout textures of people (Bird’s Eye)

The easiest way of adding a human scale or reference to any 3D project in Blender is using cutout textures of people, which also applies to vegetation and cars if you have the right textures. Most of those textures consider the point of view from the observer at ground level. That works great for most architectural projects.

What if you have a render with a camera placed at a bird’s-eye angle? You will need proper textures to match that new viewing. Do you want to download some of those textures? The guys from Vishopper shared a small collection with 8 of those textures as a free download.

Does it work with Blender? Sure, it works great with Blender with a small additional step. All files are in PSD format (Photoshop), and you need to convert them to PNG to use with Blender. Luckily, we have dozens of free online services that can convert PSD files to PNG with no need to have Photoshop.

Once you have the file as a PNG, it is easy to insert the texture in Blender. Use the Import Image as Planes Add-on, and you will have it quickly in any scene.
