I want to get into CAD with Blender in the worst way. I know that the majority of devs and users are much more into 3d animation for “film” and/or games. But Blender Must Conquor OhioDeska’s tryannical stranglehold over all things CAD. It MUST!, someday it WILL, I hope, before my grandson is 16. He’s 4 now.
Blender needs Easier precision data placement, and built in dimensioning etc., and also don’t forget the ubiquitous “Plot” function. It already has more tools than that A-hole CAD ever did. Just needs a few “business-like” tools.
Long Live Blender, and its entire community of down right brilliant contributors and mentors. They are the Rigging and Armatures upon which we all hang.
